LezWrites
LezWrites! is a project devoted to encouraging and presenting readings of short works by Bay Area lesbian/bi/trans playwrights and writer-performers. LezWrites! is an ongoing community outreach program of 3GirlsTheatre. For each show, we solicit work by putting out a call for LBT writers to submit short, humorous or dramatic pieces on a specific themes from the viewpoint of the lesbian experience. It enables lesbian writers to become visible as vital and enriching voices in the larger theater community. It nurtures the creative writing and performing talents of lesbians as part of 3Girls Theatre’s mission “to put women’s work on stage, where it belongs!”
